When Zinfandel first entered the lineup at Two Vintners it raised some eyebrows. Originally intended to be a one-off wine in 2008, it has now become one of our most sought-after bottlings. This is the wine that has people dragging their friends into the tasting room saying, “You just have to try this!”
Zinfandel is the biggest pain in the ass that I deal with in the cellar in any given year. Uneven ripening, messy fermentations, FICKLE! However, ever since the first vintage in 2008 it has been an absolute favorite of the Two Vintners faithful, so we love our fickle friend. Big, broad, and bodacious. Zinfandel is anything but elegant and refined but it is delicious!
